Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation, Inc. (SBGOF) was founded by a husband and wife team. The founder, Dr. Joseph Dumbuya has a history of charitable practice through his years of serving in the dental department on Mercy Ships, West Africa.  Dr. Joseph Dumbuya while working as a translator with the global charity Mercy Ships in Sierra Leone, was also trained as a dental assistant and an oral health teacher. He was then offered a scholarship to join the over 500 crew members of the Mercy Ship 4 tier hospital, where he worked as a dental assistant and was later promoted to the position of Oral Health Program Manager.  His long term-goal of charity work, love and compassion for people, and sympathetic nature resulted in his drive to become a Dental Surgeon.  He is qualified and licensed in the European Union and Sierra Leone, West Africa.  He led various oral health programs in Ghana, Liberia, and other West African countries providing free quality dental care for the poor and needy. Dr. Dumbuya graduated with an Integrated Master’s Degree in Dentistry from the University of Debrecen, Medical and Health Science Center, Hungary, and also a Master’s Degree in Public Health from the A.T. Still University in Mesa Arizona, USA.


The co-founder, Isatu Dumbuya is a highly capable person with several years of experience as a Consultant in various capacities such as Healthcare Administration, Compliance Audit, Recruitment, Human Resources, and Public and General Administration. She holds a Master's degree in Health Services Administration (MHSA), Business Administration (MBA), and Public Administration (MPA).   Other team and board members are qualified in various disciplines and reside in North America, Europe, and Africa. They are from diverse professional backgrounds with a common goal to serve humanity. The Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation team is very passionate about making a difference in one person or community at a time.
